A devotional thought…
We complain when it snows.  We complain when it rains.  We complain that it is too hot.  We complain that it is too cold.
What is wrong with us?!?!
*We need a change.
Have you ever stopped and considered how each of these things can impact our lives for good?  Did you ever think that GOD gives us “snow days” to get some much-needed rest…or to get some time for “inside tasks”…or to have time with family?  We go, and we go, and we go.  We run, and we run, and we run.
*Isn’t it time to make a change?
When it rains, GOD is giving us water.  HE is replenishing the earth.  If you have ever experienced a drought, you will be very thankful for rain.
*We need a change.
What about warm summer days?  We need the sunshine for vitamin D.  Thailand is called “the land of smiles,” because the residents there have plenty of sunshine and therefore, high levels of vitamin D.  Who agrees with me that this world of ours needs plenty of smiles?
*We need a change.
Cold weather is also necessary.  This is a time of being dormant, which according to Webster’s Dictionary is “quiet, still; inactive.”  Some plants and animals are inactive during winter months.  Because of this time of “being still,” they can be vibrant and productive in the warmer seasons.
